Written after he kicked it, still Heinlein-eske. Guy falls in love with a girl, turns out she's uber rich. He leaves on a shuttle to another planet. Earth and sun blow up, the girl catches up with him (FTL ship). Turns out he loves her little cousin (works out in a non creapy way).
Kind of a coming of age story. Nothing groundbreaking... told in the first person. Pretty entertaining and not too long. Lives up to Heinlein, but not beyond.
