Good book, seemed like kind of a must read for sci fi. General idea - monolith spurs apes to man... another one shows up on the moon, then saturn. Bowman becomes the star-child... what to do with his new planet?
The end of the book gets a little bizzarre, but still good, doesn't drag too long. Would read again (not highest on the list though) and recommend.
